What is Ultra Flesh Archives ? The full scope of Ultra Flesh Archives will be revealed in time as we are working on many things in the background. Consider this a work in progress. What we can tell you is that we are dedicated to the Restoration – Preservation – Education – Appreciation of the Golden Age of Adult Films. We felt there was no better time than the present to come out of the shadows in celebration of 50 years of the landmark adult film DEEP THROAT , one of the most profitable and iconic films ever made. Starring Linda Lovelace in her infamous big screen debut, directed by Gerard Damiano and released in 1972 to a flood of controversy and mainstream interest, DEEP THROAT ushered in the “Porno Chic” era and was the first adult film to feature decent production values (we say “decent” with respect to its incredibly small, but high for the genre, budget of a mere $25,000) and an original score. It achieved widespread nationwide theatrical distribution and ignited conversations and attempts at prosecution around what constituted “obscenity.”

Damiano Films has restored the film in 4K and we are happy to learn that they are aggressively pursuing theatrical screenings and special events around the world in celebration of DEEP THROAT . Ultra Flesh Archives has tremendous respect for the history and legacy of DEEP THROAT and we plan to look “deeper” at the film here and on our social media pages and plug anything official happening around the film as well.
