THE DEVIL IN MISS JONES restored!

Damiano Films is proud to announce the release of Gerard Damiano’s masterpiece of erotic cinema, “The Devil in Miss Jones“ in honor of its 50th Anniversary.

Virgin spinster Justine Jones (Georgina Spelvin) takes her own life only to discover that she is condemned to hell without ever having really lived. She begs for a second chance and vows to live a life ‘Consumed by Lust’ before accepting her eternal fate.

This 1973 film by “Deep Throat” director Gerard Damiano had both Critics and the general public taking adult films seriously. Newsweek called it “The most interesting film of its kind to date.” Judith Christ praised star Georgina Spelvin in New York Magazine. Variety called it “a Sensation!”

Lovingly restored from 35mm film Elements by Cineric Inc, “The Devil in Miss Jones” will premiere at  The Secret Movie Club 1917 Bay St, 2 Floor Los Angeles, CA 90021  on Friday October 20th, at 8PM (PDT).  The Writer/Director’s son and daughter Gerard Damiano Jr. and Christar will present the film live, then join in a talkback after the screening to be moderated by Secret Movie Club founder Craig Hammill. The film will then travel to Germany for its European premiere at Porn Film Festival Berlin with two shows at Moviemento Kino Kottbusser Damm 22, 10967 Berlin, Germany on Thursday, October 26 @ 19:15 and Sunday October 29 @ 16:45 (CET) 2023.

Finally “The Devil in Miss Jones“ Will return to New York City where it originally premiered for its first East Coast screening which will be held on Halloween Night at The Cutting Room 44 E 32nd St. New York, NY 10016.
